BBC have given fans their first look at the brand new Doctor set to take over the TARDIS next year.
Jodie Whittaker will take over from current Doctor Who actor Peter Capaldi at the end of this year’s Christmas Special, where Capaldi will hang up his keys to the infamous machine for the final time.
Whittaker’s first full series of Doctor Who won’t air until late 2018 but fans have been given their first look at the new Doctor in action with the reveal of her outfit and revamped TARDIS. On the 9th November the BBC officially revealed the new look, for a new Doctor on their twitter page.

Complete with a signature coat, The Doctor sports some blue trousers, a navy top and some brown boots to finish off the outfit. Meanwhile, the TARDIS itself has been given a transformation with the doors now sporting a more retro look and dropping the St John’s Ambulance sign.
BBC will be giving viewers their first peak at Capaldi’s final adventure as the Time Lord during the upcoming Children In Need marathon on Friday 17th November as a preview of this year’s Christmas special will be beaming out across the country.
